CDT FORT Hosts Thematic Overview Sessions for Second Cohort
The CDT FORT recently welcomed its second cohort to a pair of online Thematic Overview sessions designed to introduce Year 1 researchers to the Centre’s four core research themes. As the cohort has not yet transitioned into their individual research phase, the sessions provided an essential foundation—offering clarity on current research activity, identifying gaps, and helping researchers begin shaping their future project directions.
CDT Fort Cohort 2 Cyber Module at CSIT
CDT Fort is delighted to welcome Cohort 2 who commenced the programme in October and have just completed their first block module, Foundations of Cyber Security, at the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT), Queen’s University Belfast. Delivered by Dr. Tuan Hoang, the module provided a comprehensive introduction to the cyber security landscape.

CDT Fort Cohort Attend First Block Module at Queen’s University Belfast
The CDT Fort cohort recently gathered at Queen’s University Belfast for their first block module, marking a significant milestone for the cohort including the three University of Surrey students as it was their inaugural visit to the QUB campus. The students participated in the Foundations of Cyber Security module, led by Dr Tuan Hoang from CSIT, hosted at the University’s Graduate School.
